Each couple will receive a full days attendance so that they can assure every important detail of their wedding day – from bridal preparation to first dance – will be caught on camera.
We strive to provide a fun and relaxing experience to ensure that both you and your wedding guests will feel perfectly comfortable on the wedding day. This enables us to capture the beauty and passion of the day as a true replica of the magic created on your wedding day, with the laughs and smiles being shown as natural and sincere. Complimenting these wedding photographs are hand crafted wedding albums from some of the worlds finest manufacturers. Albums vary in style and design to create a fairy tale story for each couple that will stand the test of time in their lives together.

Not only do we take pride in capturing your wedding day completely, we provide the option for you to treasure your wedding day for years to come.
Pre Wedding | Engagement Shoots
Picking the perfect wedding photographer all boils down to how comfortable you feel. A brilliant way for you to get acquainted with not only being in front of the camera but with the artist behind it would be to come along to a pre-wedding shoot/engagement shoot, which is included with all wedding photography packages and allows us to determine what makes you laugh and smile as a couple.
Pre-wedding photo shoots can take place at your chosen wedding venue, so together we can get a vibe for what works best and the ideal places for photographs before the wedding day. If you wish to visit a more picturesque location, that can also be arranged especially if you fancy a particularly special venue around Lancashire
Available with all wedding bookings, the pre-wedding shoot typically lasts around half and hour to an hour where we can create different ideas for the wedding guest book. A concept that strays away from the traditional wedding book, chose a signature frame which allows guests to sign around your favourite photograph from the pre-wedding shoot. The beauty of this is that you get the liberty of mounting it on an extra wide frame.
At the end of the evening we take the frame away and deliver it to you, ready to hang as a beautiful memoir of your wedding day.
FAQ
How and when do we pay?
I ask for a 10% deposit in order to secure your wedding date. The remaining balance is due six weeks before your big day and this can be paid by bank transfer, cheque or cash.

I’ll always do my best to be available for any wedding location, throughout the UK & abroad – Just contact me to find out!
How do I book?
I work on a ‘first come first served’ basis and therefore your wedding date is only secured when I receive your booking form together with a 10% deposit.

The main man behind the camera at Something Blue Weddings is Rob Battersby, taking into account his artistic nature and love of wedding photography it can be assured that he provides beautiful photographs to each and every couple. Photographs that can be cherished for years to come. Rob is based in and around Leyland, Lancashire however don’t fret he is available for weddings further afield.
Who is Rob? The easiest way to answer this would be to take a glimpse into the reason he became a wedding photographer. “Falling in love with photography posed no problems at all, after photographing all the wonders of South East Asia and beyond, the concept of having these amazing memories at my disposal to treasure forever have inspired me to provide others with photos that they can also cherish. A few years after university and my gap year abroad I took along a camera to snap along at a close friends wedding. The calling came when I realized how beautiful the images were, and the positive feedback from the bride ‘Beautiful photos Rob! We love them as much as our ‘official album’. So as of 2010 I am now proud to say that my dream of providing people with beautiful memories is coming true, and I can now offer other couples stunning wedding photographs.”
