PRE WEDDING | KIRSTY & MARTIN | WORDEN PARK | LEYLAND APRIL 2015

The first couple of dates we had booked in for this pre wedding engagement shoot, were unfortunately rained off,

which meant it was leaving it a little later than ideally we had planned for this shoot – A week before the wedding πŸ™‚

However, after a relatively nervous start, Kirsty & Martin relaxed into it & we managed to get some great shots.

PRE WEDDING | LEANNE & MARTIN | WILLIAMSON PARK | LANCASTER | MARCH 13TH 2015

Leanne & Martin booked their wedding last year, so it was a long time coming for their engagement shoot,

especially when the first attempt was cancelled due to heavy fog!

Anyway the day came & I think its safe to say Leanne & Martin were a little nervous about being in front of the camera.

However they brought their little muse along, who certainly wasn’t πŸ™‚

BIG’ 3 DAYS | HAZLEWOOD CASTLE | MARCH 2015

I’ve been to all 3 of the previous ‘Big’ 2 Days – So couldn’t really miss out on the ‘Big’ 3 Days now could I?

Day 1 started with the lovely Mila, who I’ve been lucky enough & privileged enough to photograph before πŸ™‚

She just loved the water πŸ™‚

Vivienne & Rhianna Β in wedding dresses were next – Its great to have free reign with the models – To try out ideas etc.

Hazlewood castle is a great location to try these ideas out πŸ™‚

Also a bit of ‘groom prep’ thrown in for good measure πŸ™‚

Not only is there bridal sessions, there’s also a chance to try a little bit of fashion style photography.

…… Again, the choice is yours πŸ™‚DSC00672

Oh & there’s boudoir in the brilliant bridal suite @ Hazlewood castle too.

Fashion photography with the brilliant Lucy, using the grounds of Hazlewood.

We also ventured inside of this gorgeous castle too.

Day 2 was more of the same, but with different models, including, boudoir with Lauren.

Lauren & Jase stayed together for the rest of the day, as ‘bride’ & ‘groom’.

As I said its great trying out new ideas, like warming up the white balance, in camera, on a dull day,

to produce the picture below.

White balance set to auto in the next few images of Lauren & Jase – See the difference? πŸ™‚

Night time came, LOVE letters arrived & it was time to test the OCF skills – Lauren & Jase were great too πŸ™‚

Day 3 happened to fall on the morning of the eclipse, so I was up bright & breezy to capture an occurrence that doesn’t happen too much!

Again just trying things out, with white balance & ND 10 stop filter, I produced these images, which I’m pretty happy with.

Back to photographing models – Β I was going to spend the day with Kelly & Terri πŸ™‚

First doing boudoir in Hazlewood castle’s bridal suite, then fashion with the Terri …..

Followed by what has become the standard ‘trash the dress’.

However, these two ladies went above & beyond & REALLY trashed those dresses πŸ™‚
